Southwest Rolling Pin large

I have not yet been successful with this large roller. It is hard to get the deep detail evenly into the clay. I find that I need to press hard on all parts which is hard to do. I did read and follow the sheet of advice included and I put the clay down lower where I had more leverage than counter height. I really like the designs and I intend to master it. The parts that came out well looked great. I just need the whole slab to come out great.
