Southwest Collection- Peace Pipe & Axe- Stamp
This Southwest "Peace Pipe & Axe" inspired features both the Axe, which is generally a symbol of War and Peace and the Calumet. The hatchet axe were used by Native Americans for important ceremonies, such as signing a peace treaty. The calumet, or "peace pipe", was also used in special ceremonies or peace treaties, as it is thought to "bring the mind to thoughts of peace".
This Southwest inspired design is one of 24 stamps in the Southwest Collection. This stamp also coordinates with the Southwest Textured rolling pins, boarder texture and Mug Plank.
